Next, we will talk through your idea. Come and visit to see the quality in person, or we can discuss it over the phone. There is no pressure to go ahead. The aim is to understand what you want before anything else.
Step 3: Design and specification
Once we understand your plans, we work through the detail together, including:
How you will use the space
Size and layout
Internal features and finish
Site requirements and access
Your budget expectations
You end up with a clear picture of what is being built and why.
Step 4: Planning and site preparation
Some projects need planning permission and some do not, and local authority advice may be worth getting. MiPod Solutions can guide you on this.
A concrete base is usually recommended, and you can be supplied with drawings and preparation instructions so the site is ready. If you would rather not manage the groundwork yourself, MiPod can work alongside your existing contractors, or help with wider site works where that is agreed in advance.
Step 5: Secure your build slot
When you are ready to go ahead a deposit will be taken to secure your order and your place in the build schedule. Further payment terms will be agreed with the order.
Step 6: Manufacture and delivery
Your pod or building is made in the workshop, where quality is easier to control.
Where it applies, it is delivered fully assembled on a standard caravan transporter and rolled into position on your prepared base. The final connections for waste, water and electrics are then made so it is ready to use.
